FAQS

What You Need to Know

DOES IT HURT?

This, we get asked alot as you can imagine.
To put it simply, Yes, tattoos hurt but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get one. People tend to over hype the pain in their heads, but this isn't a bad thing, because 9/10 of the customer worried about the pain say the same thing when we start. "Is that it?".
Truth is, until you feel it, you don't know how you will react, its best to just do it, and if you're that worried, have something small to start with.

DO YOU SELL ALL THE AFTERCARE PRODUCTS I’LL NEED?

We do indeed! Here at Sorry Mum we are supported by YAYO Familia tattoo aftercare. we have sought after their support since we discovered them as in our opinion they are the best aftercare we have used! So good, we all use it ourselves, for healing our tattoos, and during the process of doing yours. So when you're next booked in and think 'what's that nice smelling, soothing body butter my artist is using?' remember that's YAYO and their products are available to buy in our studio.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

As we have multiple Artists, its hard to answer this one without causing confusion. All our artists decide their own prices, this could be based off of their experience, talent or own self worth. All their prices are none negotiable.

Our Artists vary from £350-£600 per day.

From £70-£120 per hour.

With minimum charge varies from £50-£80.

Some of our artists may choose to do discounted pieces, this could be pieces they would like to do to strengthen their portfolio, to push themselves artistically or to try out new styles all together.

These pieces will be free reign, with design, placement, size, colour and style all being chosen by the artist themselves and will be priced accordingly.

For more accurate pricing please ask your chosen artist directly.

HOW DO I CHOSE AN ARTIST?

This is one thing we cannot help with.  Your tattoo is yours and yours only, we all have our own opinion on what makes a nice tattoo, which might not necessarily be the same as your opinion.
We suggest you research, alot. Search Google, Pinterest, Instagram etc. until you find a style of tattoo that you like, then come back to us, send us all your ideas, any photos you've gather and we'll suggest the best artist for the job!
